It’s no doubt why Lea Longo's voice has been described as “spiritually rewarding”. You can hear her soothing vocal sounds and angelic approach in her latest CD, "Zen Voyage". With earlier influences in pop and jazz, this chanteuse can undoubtedly cross over borders without any difficulty. Inspired by her recent trip to India where Lea studied music mantras and chanted with true Indian chanting masters, Lea presents us her latest music, "Zen Voyage".

An accomplished songwriter, Lea's music has already had major film & television song placements for the movie “Cheaper By The Dozen”, the TV hit series “Dawson’s Creek”, “Party Of Five”, “Summerland”, Felicity” DVD collections, "15 Love", and “North Shore.”

APPEARANCES, AWARDS,ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

In 2004, Lea won the National Songwriting Competition at the prestigious Canadian Music Week in Toronto. She was the Grand Prize winner with her song “Ugly” which was picked out of the other 11 finalists and thousands of entries throughout Canada.

She was also awarded the Artistic Achievement Award from Concordia Fine Arts- (the university where she attained a BA in music and jazz studies.)

Lea has been performing her entire life throughout Canada and abroad. In 2000, Lea packed her bags for Hollywood where she lived for 3 years writing songs and pursuing her music dreams. As a result, her music has been featured in many TV shows and films. She performed in many Hollywood venues.Some of the highlights have been at the VIPER room, the Bitter End, and the Mint. In 2004, Lea released "Miserably Happy" on her own record label "Sweet Life Music, distributed by DEP/Universal.
Other notable performances include Place des Arts, Casino de Montreal, and the MGM Las Vegas. She has had numerous television appearances and considerable support from radio in Canada. Lea also recorded and released an Italian jazz album "Buon Natale All'Italiana" featuring Italian language standards, recorded with the Bourassa Trio in Montreal. Along with Italian, Lea also sings in Spanish and French.
